Mai bine de 10 ore de efort intens, in care te lupti cu traseul, cu vremea, cu durerea, cu ceilalti concurenti si mai ales cu tine. Aceasta este definitia triatlonului Ironman, una dintre cele mai dificile provocari sportive din cate s-au imaginat vreodata. Si tot aceasta este si pasiunea lui <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/mihaibaractaru.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mihai Baractaru<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autonom.ro\/blog\/triatlonul-de-la-pasiune-la-profesie\/\">triatlonist de meserie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dar cum a inceput totul? <em>\u201cDin greseala\u201d<\/em>, spune Mihai. In 2005, pe cand avea 16 ani, prietenul sau, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autonom.ro\/blog\/alex-diaconu-si-autonom-parteneri-la-triatlon\/\">Alex Diaconu<\/a>, l-a luat la un antrenament de 50 km pe bicicleta. A revenit stors de energie si a zacut cateva zile din cauza febrei musculare. Pe atunci, nu credea ca este omeneste posibil ca cineva, oricine, sa parcurga integral o cursa Ironman. Dar a vrut sa verifice. A inceput sa se antreneze constant, dupa un an a castigat locul I la categoria sa de varsta intr-un duatlon (alergare, ciclism, alergare), iar in 2007, la Nagytad, in Ungaria, a incheiat primul sau Ironman in 10h si 39 minute. A revenit acolo in anii urmatori, reusind de fiecare data un timp si mai bun, ba chiar stabilind recorduri nationale. Pe cel mai recent l-a inregistrat in 2015, la Klagenfurt, Austria, cu timpul de 9h 15 min si 3 secunde, record national pe care il detine si in prezent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Initial, parintii i-au interzis sa participe la triatlon, de teama ca efortul prea intens i-ar putea dauna la varsta adolescentei. De altfel, nimeni din tot neamul nu facuse vreodata sport de performanta, deci le era greu sa inteleaga aceasta pasiune. Cum avea \u201cinterdictie\u201d, ii spunea mamei ca merge la competitii doar ca sa asiste, nu pentru a participa. Cu timpul, au inceput sa se adune diplomele si cupele castigate, asa ca Mihai le ascundea in beciul casei parintesti. Tot acolo erau insa pastrate si legumele; prevazator, inainte de a pleca la o competitie, o intreba pe mama lui daca are nevoie sa-i aduca ceva din beci, ca sa nu coboare ea insasi si sa-i descopere trofeele. Inevitabilul s-a produs: intr-o zi, cand a ajuns acasa, sportivul si-a gasit mama plangand. Desi tinute secrete cam un an, probele care il \u201cincriminau\u201d dovedeau ca are rezultate, iar mama a inteles ca, pentru fiul ei, sportul este important si ca nu i-l poate interzice. Tatal a inceput sa-l sustina abia in 2015, dupa ce a inteles din presa ce performanta uriasa a reusit fiul sau, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autonom.ro\/blog\/mihai-baractaru-primul-roman-la-campionatul-mondial-ironman\/\">primul roman prezent la Campionatul Mondial de Ironman<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pentru Mihai, triatlonul nu este doar pasiune, ci si profesie: a absolvit Academia Nationala de Educatie Fizica si Sport si un curs de masaj, de aproape patru ani lucreaza ca antrenor personal pentru cei care se pregatesc sa participe la competitii de triatlon. Are zilnic sedinte individuale de antrenament; acesta este, practic, serviciul lui. Programele de antrenament sunt personalizate in functie de starea fizica, istoricul medical si de obiective, si dureaza, de obicei, cateva luni, timp in care Mihai isi monitorizeaza si evalueaza constant elevii. Ii \u201cpastreaza\u201d insa doar daca sunt seriosi, disciplinati si sinceri \u2013 cu el si cu ei insisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Daca va bate vreun gand, aflati ca o persoana obisnuita, chiar si sedentara, are nevoie de 8-9 luni pregatire pentru a termina un Ironman, daca este disciplinata. Dar nu veti regreta, va asigura Mihai: <em>\u201cTriatlonul dezvolta armonios corpul: antrenamentele alternative pentru fiecare dintre cele trei probe (inot, bicicleta, alergare) lucreaza fiecare diverse grupe de muschi, creand astfel echilibru\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sfaturi pentru triatlonistii aspiranti?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSa invete sa inoate bine\u201d, fiindca <strong>inotul<\/strong> este proba cea mai tehnica, facand diferenta in rezultatele generale;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Trebuie perfectionat si antrenamentul pe <strong>bicicleta<\/strong> (4-5 ore\/zi), care ocupa cea mai mare pondere din timpul total de concurs;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Disciplina<\/strong>, disciplina, disciplina \u2013 si nu doar la antrenamente, ci si in alimentatie si odihna;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Echipamentele? Conteaza, desigur, sa ai biciclete, costum din neopren si \u201cpiele\u201d de inot, imbracaminte si incaltaminte sport de calitate si un intreg arsenal de accesorii. Dar nu <strong>echipamentul<\/strong> face diferenta, ci <strong>pregatirea \u2013 fizica si psihica<\/strong> deopotriva;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">pentru fiecare competitie trebuie sa ai o <strong>strategie<\/strong>, un plan pe care sa il respecti intocmai in timpul cursei;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Informeaza-te, invata, aplica!<\/strong> Programe specifice de antrenament pentru alergare, bicicleta si inot, care echipamente sunt mai bune, reguli de nutritie, recuperare s.a.m.d. &#8211; iata o infinitate de informatii indispensabile pentru succes. Mihai le-a deprins, pe de o parte, din studiile ANEFS si cursul de masaj, unde a invatat despre biomecanica \u2013 respectiv cum functioneaza oasele, muschii, articulatiile \u2013, dar este si autodidact.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chiar daca antrenamentele sunt intense (uneori, chiar si 7 ore\/zi), cea mai dificila pregatire pentru Ironman este cea psihica \u2013 <em>\u201cuneori te trage inapoi mai tare decat partea fizica\u201d<\/em>. Cum la antrenamente esti mai mult singur, ai timp berechet sa te automotivezi. Porti mereu o lupta interioara, sa te convingi ca poti si vrei sa sfidezi orice limite ca sa atingi un vis. Iar cand ajungi la acel armistitiu cu tine insuti, in ziua de concurs ai in minte cer senin, doar te bucuri de cursa. Cel putin, pana cand atingi pragul de suportabilitate, \u201cThe Wall\u201d, cand corpul refuza sa mai coopereze si trebuie sa reiei \u201ctratativele\u201d ca sa depasesti acea durere continua \u2013 semnalul de alarma prin care organismul te anunta ca nu mai poate si ca trebuie sa incetezi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cOrice concurent, in timpul cursei, ar zice ca vrea sa se opreasca. Si eu, la un moment dat, imi doream sa fac pana<\/em>\u201d, marturiseste Mihai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cu cat reusesti insa sa mentii mai mult timp miscarea din \u201cinertie\u201d, cu atat mai usor iti este sa continui. Ca sa treci acel prag, sa poti ignora durerea sau macar s-o accepti, trebuie sa se produca un declic. Secretul lui Mihai? Acceseaza \u201csertarul\u201d sau cu amintiri placute si ganduri pozitive. Dupa acel declic, scade tensiunea, dar trebuie sa fii cu adevarat hotarat ca sa reusesti. Vestea buna este ca, din ce te antrenezi, corpul se adapteaza la efort, devine mai puternic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cSingura problema reala care te poate impiedica sa termini o cursa de Ironman este o fractura de femur, zic antrenorii triatlonistilor. A doua problema? O a doua fractura de femur.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Revenind la <strong>strategie<\/strong>, este crucial sa-ti pregatesti si sa-ti respecti cu sfintenie planul: ce viteza trebuie sa mentii la fiecare proba, ce si cand trebuie sa mananci si sa bei pe durata cursei ca sa-ti optimizezi rezultatele. De exemplu, Mihai bea apa la fiecare 15 minute, iar la 30 minute mananca o banana, un baton ori un gel energizant cu absorbtie rapida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Parte din aceasta strategie este si sa ajunga cu destul timp inainte la locul cursei, pentru a recunoaste zona si a se acomoda cu traseul. Are un plan diferit pentru fiecare zona de parcurs, adaptat in functie de dificultati. La Klagenfurt, in Austria, a ajuns cu 10 zile inainte de Ironman. Ne-am bucurat sa-l sustinem si noi cu o masina Autonom, ca sa poata transporta echipamentele necesare. Si, desi vremea a fost potrivnica, iar concurenta acerba (3000 de participanti), <em>\u201cam terminat cu timpul de 9h 15 min si 10 secunde, pe locul 8 la categoria de varsta si 77 la general (rezultate similare cu cele de anul trecut)\u201d<\/em>. De data aceasta insa, recuperarea a durat mai putin, cam trei zile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La scurt timp dupa revenirea din Austria l-am revazut si noi pe Mihai. Deja se pregatea pentru urmatorul Ironman, din Zurich \u2013 prima data cand avea sa bifeze doua competitii de o asemenea dificultate in doar o luna. Ne-a spus atunci, hotarat, <em>\u201cO sa ma calific!\u201d<\/em>. Si asa a si facut:<br><em>&#8222;Doua Ironman-uri intr-o luna de zile. Este o performanta uria\u0219\u0103 pentru mine. Ieri, l-am finalizat pe cel de-al doilea cu timpul de 9h 33min si am terminat pe loc 5 la categorie si 53 la general. Cursa a fost foarte grea, dar am dat tot pana la final! Sunt foarte bucuros ca am reusit un asemenea timp. Pentru a doua oara consecutiv, voi participa la Kona, <strong>Campionatul Mondial de Ironman<\/strong>! Pe 8 octombrie, la Kona, in Hawaii, il asteapta o noua provocare de proportii si va fi iar singurul roman din competitie. Cunoscandu-i insa ambitia, deja nu mai avem emotii. Doar suntem gata sa strigam: Hai, Mihai! Hai, Romania!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stiati ca&#8230;?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Triatlonul a fost inclus ca disciplina in Jocurile Olimpice de Vara in 2000, la Sydney.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proba olimpica de triatlon este mai scurta decat cea standard: 1,5 km inot, 43 km pedalat si 10 km alergare.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 2000, la Sydney, 48 de femei si 52 de barbati au participat in curse separate. In 2004, la Atena, s-a egalat numarul de participanti la 50 pentru fiecare sex, iar in 2008, la Beijing, numarul a fost majorat la 55 de femei si 55 de barbati, apoi a ramas asa si in Londra, 2012.<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vara aceasta, la Rio de Janeiro, proba olimpica de triatlon va avea loc intre 18 &#8211; 20 august, la Fort Copacabana.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>3,86 km inot, 180,25 km pedalat pe bicicleta si un maraton de alergare (42,2 km), in ordinea aceasta si fara pauza.
